Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data when you enquire or book.

Last updated: · Draft starting-point policy — see the notice at the bottom before publishing.

What we collect

When you make an enquiry or booking, we collect the information you give us directly: name, email, phone number, preferred dates, number of guests, and any message you send. If you book and pay, our payment processor also handles your card details — we never see or store full card numbers ourselves.

How we use it

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary data with: our payment processor (to take payment), our cleaning/housekeeping team (guest names and stay dates only, to prepare the villa), and legal or regulatory authorities where we're required to by law. We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

We retain booking and enquiry records for as long as needed to fulfil the stay, resolve any disputes, and meet UK tax record-keeping requirements (typically up to 6 years for financial records).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within one month.

Cookies

This site does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated and a cookie banner will be added.

Note for the site owner: this is a reasonable starting-point privacy policy, not a legally reviewed document. Before publishing live and collecting real guest data, please have it checked against UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018 requirements — in particular your lawful basis for processing, your actual data retention periods, and the specific third parties you use (payment processor, booking software, etc.) should all be named precisely.
